• 1987 entrance into Depertment of Information Science, Faculty of Engineering, Kyoto University
• 1990 being assigned to Ikeda Lab.
• 1992 promotion to master's course
• 1994 the master's degree in Engineering at the Kyoto university
• 1994 joining to Electrotechnical Lab.
• 2001 the degree of doctor of informatics at the Kyoto university
• 2001 Electrotechnical Lab. is reorganized into Advanced Industrial Science and Technology
• 2003 Japanese Society for Artificial Intelligence Annual Conference Award
• 2008 Japanese Society for Artificial Intelligence Annual Conference Award
